I’m currently an Editorial Director with a proven track record of building and scaling successful SEO content teams and have more of a decade of experience writing and editing for major national home, lifestyle, and news organizations.
An editor once said I have an “infectious enthusiasm” for content. And as the girl who used to ask for extra time to “work on my novel” (it was about pioneers, of course) instead of going out for recess, I suppose it’s no surprise that I’ve turned my love for writing into a career.
I’m also a lifelong learner. I’ve become a gardening expert through training and trial-and-error (ok, lots of error) and am working toward my MBA with an emphasis in marketing from the University of Iowa.
Outside of writing and school, I love spending time with my husband, Tim; our sons, Henry (5) and Connor (2); and our geriatric French Bulldog, Higgins. On any given weekend, you can find me exploring the outdoors, playing in the backyard, trying a new recipe, entertaining friends and family, or drinking wine with my book club.
